Back in the beginning of the year we started looking at our wellness plans, this happened to line up well for me with a major reconstructive surgery I was having on my knee. Because of that unfortunate event I choose to focus mainly on injury management for my plan and it still applies due to the long recovery time of the injury. A challenge that I have been facing and will continue to have to deal with for 6 more months at a minimum is keeping up with the physical therapy and rebuilding all the muscle and balance lost. This takes time management skills and basic self motivation but a lot of people I talked to had trouble keeping up with the routine they had been assigned.

It talks about all the struggles from finding time in your day, to connecting and communicating with your therapist honestly and thus effectively. A perspective that you wouldn't think about unless you are in physical therapy is how much your injury affects your sleep and how much your injury, sleep ties into every aspect of wellness and is part of our everyday life.
