For our test we just tested the pump at different grades to predict the affect it would have on the fash, for our demonstration we will be moving a fish through a tube from one tank to another. In our test we hypothesized that the steeper the grade the slower the pump would move the water, as the results show from my last blog post, we ran it on the slowest setting every time and it did slow it down when we adjusted the end point but not as much as we had thought. This diagram is what we will do for our demonstration, the pump pushing through the second tube with each end submerged it will create a vacuum which will pull the fish up from its original tank to the end. I personally have learned a lot about how our home town and surrounding areas environment and how we interact with and affect the other living things near us with our decisions and consumption. The name of our project did get people interested, and overall Napa is doing a lot to recover space and resources for its environment but its a few strong organizations doing most of the work and not a large part of the individuals in our community that take time out of their days to contribute.
